TOUR
Calabria’s Wine and Food
Discover traditional food and wine
The wines of Calabria, once called Enotria (land of wine), still retain a distinctly local dimension: “Every family has its own wine,” generally produced according to traditional criteria. The region’s farming culture has accumulated a wealth of knowledge over the centuries, which is clearly reflected in the various combinations of vines, environments, and winemaking techniques. A journey through Calabria to discover wines unknown to the mainstream market and their tenacious producers can take on the character of an immersion into long-lost dimensions that still seem deeply rooted here. Unexpectedly surprising!
